Meetings

When:    Tuesdays 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. (PLC meets once a month in place of troop mtg.)
Where:   Eagle Lodge Scout Hut (Los Gatos Youth Park, behind LGHS)
Adults:    Parent meeting 1st Monday of every month, 7:30 p.m. at Scout Hut.

Please return these items, to allow your son to participate in Troop activities:

• Join Boy Scouting Boy Scout Application
• Check to "Troop 501" for pro-rated Dues
• Troop 501 Activities Permission form
• Troop 501 Authorization and consent for a Minor
• Personal Health and Medical Records (Class 1) (Need Class 2 for summer camp)
• Troop 501 Contact Information
• Troop Resource Survey
• Troop 501 Parent Driver Survey

Please return these items to volunteer as an adult helper:

• BSA Adult Application (to serve on Troop Committee or as Assistant Scoutmaster)
• Personal Health and Medical Record (Class 3) (to participate in high-adventure activities or to attend summer camp as a parent)

Dues & Fees

Membership dues are $60, and $10 per adult, payable each December for the following year.

• All new boys joining up to the end of January, pay full amount
• February & March, when most boys join, will pay same fee of $75.00.
• After March 31, Scouts will pay prorated fee
• Prorated amount for Scouts would be $5.00 per month.
• Scout fee cover registration with National, BSA insurance through National, 1 year subscription of Boy’s Life Scouting magazine and Troop dues for the year.
• Adult fee covers registration with National, BSA insurance through National and Scouting Magazine for leaders & parents.

New Scouts must pay an additional $25 per Scout

• To be paid once upon joining troop
• Covers cost of Scout manual, neckerchief, 501 numerals for uniform, New Scout binder, and 1^st class 5” patch for neckerchief.
• Reduce fee by $8.00 if they have Scout manual already.

Submit check (s) with forms to Troop Committee Chair or Forms Chair.
